The stars are calling, maybe your extraterrestrial friend is too! Join us for a night under the stars! We’re excited to welcome the Fort Worth Astronomical Club, who will be on hand with telescopes and expert knowledge to help you explore the wonders of the night sky. View planets, constellations, and distant galaxies while learning from experienced stargazers. Whether you're a seasoned astronomer or just curious about the cosmos, this event is perfect for all ages! Things You Should Know: Bring: A blanket or chair, bug spray, and your sense of wonder. Optional: Binoculars or your own telescope! *Note: This program may be cancelled due to weather Never been to a Star Party before? Here are a few tips to help you enjoy the night! Arrive before dark so you can easily find where we’re set up. Dim your headlights as you enter the parking lot—bright white lights can affect everyone’s night vision and the quality of the stargazing. Bring a red flashlight if you have one! Red light helps you see without disrupting your (or others’) ability to enjoy the stars. Dress for cooler evening temperatures. Even in summer, it can get chilly once the sun goes down. Parking: We’ll be backing into the spaces closest to the historic parade grounds to help minimize headlight interference. This setup also allows anyone who needs to leave early to do so without disturbing the stargazing experience. Don’t miss this chance to see the universe like never before!
