Stephen James

Stephen James is a proud graduate of Jacksboro High School and a lifelong supporter of the community he calls home. He currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Jacksboro National Bank, where he enjoys building relationships and helping local families and businesses succeed.

Before beginning his career in banking, Stephen spent 24 years in the oil and gas supply industry, gaining valuable experience in customer service, leadership, and community relationships. His diverse professional background, combined with his dedication to Jacksboro, brings a thoughtful perspective to the Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Stephen has a long history of serving others, including time on the Athletic Booster Club Board and as a deacon at his local church. He believes strong communities are built when people invest in one another, and he is proud to support initiatives that help Jacksboro's businesses, families, and future thrive.

When he's not at work or volunteering, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family hunting, fishing, relaxing at the beach, and appreciating the simple way of life that makes small-town living so rewarding.

What Stephen loves most about Jacksboro is the way people support one another. Whether celebrating successes or helping neighbors through difficult times, he believes that spirit of community is what makes Jacksboro truly special.
