For Melanie Belcher, community has always been at the center of both her personal and professional life. A graduate of Lorena High School, she began her college journey at Howard Payne University, where she met her college sweetheart and future husband, Blake. She later completed her degree at Midwestern State University, and together they have built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

Melanie and Blake have been married for 27 years and are the proud parents of three children—Lando, Ellie, and Allie. Blake has dedicated 27 years to education as a teacher and coach, earning more than 425 career high school baseball victories, while Melanie has spent 22 years building a career in healthcare and nonprofit marketing and community relations. Together, they enjoy spending time as a family and enthusiastically supporting their children in every activity and opportunity they pursue.

As a director for the Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce, Melanie is passionate about helping strengthen the community she proudly calls home. She values the faith, history, traditions, and unwavering community support that make Jacksboro unique. She also appreciates the community's commitment to investing in and encouraging the next generation, believing those young people are the key to a bright future.

Something you might not know about Melanie: Her twin daughters, Ellie and Allie, were born at just 29 weeks. Their family's journey through that experience has strengthened their faith and given them an even deeper appreciation for every milestone and blessing along the way.
